Mr. Praszkier received his college degree in 1986 from the University of Louisville with a B.A. in Political Science and his Law Degree from in 1992 from St. Louis University, the top health law school in the nation. He is admitted to practice before all Missouri courts, Missouri Court of Appeals, The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.


He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and The Birth Trauma Litigation Group.


Between College and Law School, Mr. Praszkier attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine and went on to work at Humana, Inc. where he was responsible for health insurance compliance through which he gained valuable experience in insurance regulations, health care finance administration procedures, and medicare supplemental and replacement policies.


A representation of the cases handled by Mr. Praszkier includes $2.5 million and $2.15 million for the negligent delivery by an obstetrician who also happened to be the head of the High Risk Department at a major hospital. Numerous settlements including during trial for Bariatric Surgery (weight loss) cases for over $2.7 million dollars. Ankle burns from a defective hot tub for $500,000. Anesthesia cases for over $2.25 million. Tractor Trailer death case for $1.3 million dollars which also prompted the Missouri Department of Railroad and Highway Safety to shut down a dangerous company.

He has also represented a 17 year old boy against the doctor who delivered the boy and was able to recover over $500,000 even though the case was turned down by every lawyer the family had previously approached.
